Work With The Number One Team in the World

Saddlebrook Prep students take part in a high performance golf program giving them the opportunity to develop their total game including: technique, golf course management, competition, physical fitness and mental conditioning.

Training — Led by two of the most celebrated coaches on the PGA Tour, Steve Bann and Dale Lynch, our Tampa golf academy offers the most comprehensive player development and instructional program anywhere. Steve Bann and Dale Lynch successfully created a national golf program in Australia, and have produced more champions than any other program internationally, including three of their current students and PGA TOUR winners Aaron Baddeley, Geoff Ogilvy and Stuart Appleby. The BannLynch team work with the students and develop a plan for each. Coaches play with their group on a regular basis to work on course strategy. Students work with their same coaches everyday during each quarter. Their coaches are able to track student progress and focus on improving all aspects of their game with consistency.

Player Accountability — Students have a great opportunity to take their game to the next level but it will be up to them to reach their potential. Starting with their performance profile, students at Saddlebrook must constantly set goals for themselves and focus on achieving those goals. Additional tools such as tournament evaluations and mental skills training will help players become tougher competitors.

Player Analysis — Players at Saddlebrook Prep have the opportunity to compete on a daily basis with their peers. Playing golf among players of a similar age and ability level on a regular basis pushes them towards constant and consistent improvement. Our goal is for players to gain as much competitive experience as possible so they have the ability

to perform at the highest level, leaving behind obstacles that have held them back in the past. Skills testing will be completed on a regular basis and will allow coaches and players to concretely identify strengths and weaknesses and set measurable goals towards improvement.

KJCHoiSaddlebrookSaddlebrook Preparatory School, Founded in 1992, was the First Golf Academy to Combine Academics with Golf Training, Developing Motivated Students in the Classroom and Aspiring Athletes in Golf or Tennis.

Juniors from all over the world, training in Saddlebrook’s golf and tennis camps, wanted to extend their training and maintain their academic studies, so Saddlebrook Preparatory School was created. Today, over 100 students from 20 different countries, form a multi-cultural learning environment. As they study, train in the intensive sports program, and enjoy many recreational activities together, students make friends from all over the world. Students, in Saddlebrook Prep’s fully accredited college-preparatory school, for grades 3 through 12 and post-graduates, benefit from a highly educated, dedicated teaching staff and a small student-to-teacher ratio of 10-to-1. A Prep student may live in our boarding program or with a parent or legal guardian in various housing options within the Saddlebrook community.

At Saddlebrook’s secure, gated resort, the amenities are all within easy walking distance. Juniors safely stroll, bike, or are shuttled between accommodations, classes, sports and fitness training, and meals while supervised by Resident Assistants, teachers, and coaches.

Golfers train at the Academy training facility and golf on the resort’s own two Palmer-designed courses. Student-golfers compete in local, regional, and national tournaments, traveling individually or on a team, depending on the event and player.

Academy graduates attend prestigious universities, typically with scholarships in their sport, or they may even become professionals.
