Denis McDade
Denis has been a part of the BannLynchGolf team since 1996. He turned professional in 1986 and played competitively in Australia for a number of years before becoming a full time coach.
He was Scholarship Coach at the Australian Institute of Sport Golf Program for two years and spent eleven years at the Victorian Institute of Sport Golf Program, five as Assistant Coach and six as Head Coach. Graduates of the VIS Golf Program include Stuart Appleby, Robert Allenby, Geoff Ogilvy, Aaron Baddeley, Marcus Fraser, Jarrod Lyle and Marc Leishman.
His players have won on the PGA Tours of Europe, Japan, Australia, Korea and the US Nationwide Tour. They include Marc Leishman (US PGA Tour), Marcus Fraser (European PGA Tour), Paul Sheehan (Japan PGA Tour), Ashley Hall and Matthew Griffin (Asian PGA Tour).
Denis is a Senior Advisory Board Member of the Titleist Performance Institute, based in Oceanside, California. In addition he is Head of TPI’s Junior Advisory Board.
Denis was voted Victorian PGA Teacher of the Year in 2001 and Australian Golf Digest Coach of the Year in 2008.
He spends a number of weeks each year traveling around the world working with his players and presenting at certification seminars with the Titleist Performance Institute.
