Ogilvy wins while coach makes history from couch!

Geoff Ogilvy has successfully defended his SBS Championship title with a solid 6 under par 67 to finish the tournament at -22, 1 shot ahead of Rory Sabbatini.

While Ogilvy seemed so relaxed out there he could be sitting on a couch, his coach Dale Lynch was actually doing just that! “Lynchy” was at home in South Carolina watching the live coverage from his living room.However this was no ordinary Sunday for the world renowned golf instructor.

Dale was kind enough to share the moment with a number of lucky viewers who tuned into his live broadcast via UStream on the website www.PureGolfTraining.com.

Viewers were able to watch live video of Lynch as he commented on Geoff’s play and were also able to ask him questions directly through chat.

Some great questions came from guests such as “golfgirl” who asked Dale halfway through the back 9 about how Geoff must be feeling right now and how he feels watching him play. Dale responded by showing similar calmness and confidence to his student, saying that he felt that Geoff was playing well enough to win and he’d have his money on him.

“Johnraser” asked some great questions relating to golf technique, such as what sort of drills Dale and Geoff have been working on. Users “John1967Wright” and “OnPlane12″ also contributed greatly to the conversation with some excellent questions about how to gain confidence in their chipping.
