Geoff Ogilvy has successfully defended his SBS Championship title with a solid 6 under par 67 to finish the tournament at -22, 1 shot ahead of Rory Sabbatini. While Ogilvy seemed so relaxed out there he could be sitting on a couch, his coach Dale Lynch was actually doing just that! Monday, December 21| Australia's Marc Leishman has received the perfect Christmas present: a Rookie of the Year award on the US PGA Tour as announced by Commissioner Tim Finchem on Friday. For at least a day, the Warnambool boy shared the golf media headlines with embattled Tiger Woods, who was awarded his 10th Player of the Year award and his first since 2007. Hee Young Park shines at LPGA Tour Championship
South Korean LPGA star Hee Young Park has finished T-5th at the LPGA Tour Championship at the Houstonian Golf & Country Club in Houston, Texas. Park followed rounds of 70 and 72 with a sparkling 5 under par 67 in the final round of the weather-shortened event. She eventually finished 6 shots behind winner Anna Nordquist of Sweden.
